How to Simulate Walking or Driving a Route on iPhone GPS

Sometimes a single fixed location isn't enough — you need your iPhone to move along a route at a realistic speed. That's useful for testing navigation, location-based games, and fitness apps.

How route simulation works

Instead of one pin, you set a start and an end point. The tool then feeds your iPhone a smooth series of GPS updates along the path at the speed you choose — walking, running, cycling, driving, or fast.

Steps with Ravn

1. Open Ravn and switch to Route mode.
2. Click the map to set your start, then your destination.
3. Pick a speed (walk → fly) and start. Your iPhone follows the path in real time.

Make it realistic

Enable jitter so the track has natural drift rather than a robotic straight line. Keep it to devices you own, and respect the rules of any app you test with.
